2023 Postcard Fiction Contest

We had so much fun reading your entries to our first flash fiction contest that we thought, "Hey, let's see what new stories are waiting to get written in 2023." And just to keep things interesting (we know you love a challenge), we're calling on you to write a story in 250 words or less -  like you could fit it on a postcard, but stamps are expensive, so you can submit your story through our digital upload submission form.

Submission Guidelines

Wordstorm members - $5.00

Non-Members - $25.00  (You can become a Wordstorm member prior to entering to qualify for the $5.00 entry fee.)

             - Stories must be 250 words or less in length and must be fictional.

_

              - Stories can be on any subject or theme you choose and must be your original work.

                 Entries must be not have been previously published. Reprints are not accepted.

​

               - Simultaneous submissions are not accepted.

​

             - Entries should be typed in 12 point font - Times or Times New Roman preferred.

​

             - You may enter more than once, however, an entry fee will apply to each consecutive 

               entry.

​

            - Please include your name, title of your story and your email address in the upper right                              corner of your story.
